Square & Friends
Gallery 2014
05 September 2014
Square & Friends gallery was a not-for-profit establishment delivering innovative exhibitions from unique individuals and new wave creatives.
This articulate space (which was located in the now desist Sunshine Coast Courthouse building) developed into the creative hub for the local area, aligning creative agencies and cafes to form its structural skeleton. Artificial grass, ply wooden furniture, and a river view surrounded Square & Friends; a simplistic atmosphere, which comforted the galleries inner manifestations.
This colourful utopia opened its doors to the public in the hope to introduce and educate all participants to the world of visual art: though painting, photography, and sculpture.
Each month a new exhibition invited a fresh crowd of intrigued spectators to enjoy an opening night of food, drinks, music, and culture.
